Coming together to make a big impact is the American way. The first Armed Forces Day theme was ‘Teamed For Defense’ celebrating the unification of the Armed Forces under the Department of Defense. In that spirit, we invite all Americans to ‘team up’ and support our Armed Forces.
History
Armed Forces Day was created to replace separate days celebrating the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Marines still have their own day – but today’s Armed Forces Day celebrates all the brave Americans who serve, and have served, our country.
The awesome power of these forces is undeniable. So is the power of America coming together. This Armed Forces Day, we salute the members of our Acceptance Insurance family who have served. And we invite you to join your fellow Americans in coming together to support veterans by contributing to a veterans’ organization.
