Recent Storm Disaster in Christian County, Illinois
The Illinois Department of Insurance has issued a mandate extending policy and claim handling
leniency to customers who were impacted by recent storms in Christian County, IL. This
includes a 90-day moratorium on policy cancellations and non-renewals on all types of policies

This relief applies only to insureds affected by the disaster who are residing in or around Christian County, IL. If you have been displaced from your residence, or experienced disruption in mail service or other storm related hardship that had made it difficult for you to timely act or respond to insurance notices and documentation requests or timely pay premiums, Acceptance will work with you by:
- Not cancelling or non-renewing your policy if your premium is late; and
- Extending the time for providing information or required documents such as proof of loss or other claim and policy related documents by at least an additional 60 days.
