Overview

State Requirements

Arizona requires each motor vehicle on the road to be covered by basic liability insurance issued by a provider licensed to do business in the state of Arizona. Liability insurance minimums are 15/30/10. What does this mean? The 15 means Acceptance will pay up to $15,000 toward injury-related expenses per person, 30 means Acceptance will pay up to $30,000 total per incident toward injury-related expenses and 10 means Acceptance will pay up to $10,000 toward property damage in each incident.

Basic Liability Coverage

Basic Liability is the least expensive insurance option but it only offers the least amount of protection if you are involved in an accident. The coverage is only provided for damage you cause to another party. Any damage to your vehicle, or any personal hospital or medical costs are not covered under this type of coverage. Any costs above the 15/30/10 incurred in an accident could require significant out-of-pocket expenses in the event of a serious accident.

Comprehensive and Collision Coverage

If you need coverage to protect yourself and your vehicle, Acceptance offers comprehensive and collision coverage. The premium is higher than liability, but the additional coverage will help protect one of your most expensive investments as well as your financial standing in the event of a serious accident. In addition, most lienholders require you to have this coverage if your vehicle is financed. We also offer many discounts and deductible options, which helps many Arizona drivers find the increased coverage, and the peace of mind it offers, worth every penny.

Uninsured Motorist Coverage

Another option Acceptance provides is uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage. While this coverage is not mandatory in the state of Arizona, it's always a good idea to carry it. If you are involved in an accident with an uninsured driver, you could incur significant expenses in repairing your car or paying medical expenses for injuries. You can purchase uninsured or underinsured motorist with limits that are equal to the liability limits on your policy.
